Words

One
letter
takes
too
much time
deciding
on
what
to
become,
but
two
plus company
give
momentum
to
where
all
I
need to
do
is look,
touch,
feel,
and taste
the
poetry
that’s
written
on
your
skin.

So,
slow
your roll
a bit
so
the words
can
form
the way
they
should;
and my
eyes
will get
to
marinate
through
your thighs,
hips,
and
the angles
only
we know.
Like,
down
your spine
where
words
like
“lustful” and
“succulent” meet
up;
or, where
the
words
“push harder”
and
“slightly
there”
dance
around
your
navel.

See,
I watch
the
words
come to
closure
on
your
skin,
and desperately
fall
victim
to
the
stanzas
they
effortlessly
caress.
