Like A Poet

Like
a poet
says,
“Ain’t
no
words in
this song”,
’cause
I’m
grabbing
at
loose
strings
and missing
vowels
to
describe
my
love
tucked
inside
of
yours.
Like
a poet
whispers,
Just
wait for
the
noun to
debut”,
and
he’s
starting
to
walk
a little
wiser
like Jackson
did
and
that
beanstalk
of
his.
Like a
poet
writes,
“The
last
of this
is already
known”,
’cause
see,
I’m
falling
into
a
heads over
heels
situation
with you,
and
I’m
not
doing
a
damn
thing
about
it.

Just
like a
poet does.
